IE Text Archiver is one utility that will enable you to save text files simply and rapidly. By highlighting the text on
the web page you wanted saved and right clicking your mouse, you save the text file on your hard drive. It saves you the
hassle of opening your text editor and pasting on it the copied text selection.
The name is a misnomer because it supports browsers other than Internet Explorer. This is a freeware. To download the script,

By the way, the script creator is a genius by the name of Steve Yandl.
